Wow...time sure flies..year 2004 is finally over. This year has been full of happiness and sadness..more of sadness really especially the tsunami tragedy that took more than 100,000 lives. This new year had sure been a silent one without the fireworks and countdowns.But, it had been indeed a memorable one for me coz this is my 1st time i have been out for the 'celebration' to welcome the new year. Lydia came over to my house and we took off to Kit mun's house to wait there for Ching may and Moses to pick us up. Then we went to the Sunrise Building and met up with some Dj Ians( sorry..forgot their names..ehhe). Decided to eat at a Java restaurant there which is a CON place. Lydia and i ordered a chicken with rice to share. I asked the waitress how big was the portion and she said half the chicken's breast and there were fries. When the food came, it was the shock of our lives. The chicken was like so small for 2 people, thr rice was probably like just enough to feed one kitten, and there were no fries. Instead, there were vegetables that i never touch which are carrots, some red and greenish stuff. Due to desperate cirsumstances, i finished up the vegetables..Amazing..my mom would be so proud of me.
After that, me, Lydia, Ching May, Kit Mun and Moses went to Hartamas. Initally we wanted to go Breakers to play foosball but they were charging and entrance cum drink fee of rm 2o per person. So, we were standing on the streets feeling lost and thinking of where to hang out until 12 midnight. We finally went to a Mediterrenean cafe and ordered drinks. Then, me and Kit Mun went to buy the spray can to spray the strings for new year.4 for rm 10..oklah the price. Everyone's countdown was different so we headed out to the streets and counted down ourselves..5..4..3..2..1.. and sprayed each other with the spray can.Kit Mun got the worst spray and was decked in blue,white and pink strings. Ching May got a called from Shaun to go to Soul Out so we headed there.On the way we were sprayed with foam from super enthusiatic people but it was fun. Got to Soul Out but it was packed.No.1 song for the year 2004 is' Where is the love'..woot! But the fun thing was when me and Kit Mun was taking a pic..posing already..the got someone sprayed foam at us from the back making it as though Malaysia was snowing or something. After that, went back to Kit Mun's house to get my car and I sent Lydia home. Came back around 2 a.m and my mom was sorta pissed..ehhe...but luckily she didn't really scold me that much.Went online for a while, took a shower and went to bed. End of year 2004..BYE-BYE!
