I am on Holiday!!Finally..my long awaited holiday after 3 stressing months are finally here.I can finally go back to my slacking days.I can spend more time with my drama, Wii, and movies that I missed while doing stupid assignments. I still haven't watched Ironman or Indiana Jones..dammit...I wanna watch Made of Honour too!!McDreamy!!!Who's up for it?

Anyways, my new big thing has arrived. My new guitar!Just got here yesterday..I am really satisfied with it. Nice fiber glass case which can take higher impacts and also has a thermometer and hygrometer to check the humidity in it too.







I was told that my neck was actually built by Manuel Rodiguez Sr. himself so the neck was quite thin compared to my previous one which will enhance my playability as my left hand won't hurt so much now.Played the guitar and the sound was really nice.As mine is a solid spruce top, will have to wait for some time before the sound opens. I love the two tone color of the headstock there.Also love the bronze head tuners.Blends in nicely with the wood.









The back is made out of solid Indian rosewood.Love it!



Overall, lovely guitar!Best thing I have ever bought!Going to do some bonding time with my guitar now

Just ranting here in my blog as I have no one else to complain to about this problem.
I am in a dilemma here.I just passed my grade 6 classical guitar exam. Now I don't know whether to proceed with my grade 8 or should i switch over to learning the piano. Both are attractive in their own ways but each has its pros and cons. If I continue my grade 8,I will have to spend another RM 10k for a new guitar and also additional pressure for exams in additions to the ones that I am facing from my masters study. A new piano costs about RM 5k which is obviously so much cheaper. But I don't want to give up my classical guitar just like that. Way too much work has been put in. Now my dad is telling me to make a final decision. I don't really know whether he is supportive of me anymore in music as being my hobby. The costs are just too high. Haih...life sucks..I blame it on money and my masters.
